SOME DAYS NEED MORE THAN 24 HOURS

Yes I've been a bit slack! I haven't done much at all with my blog this past week, been a bit distracted with other things. I have started an account with Flickr but still haven't uploaded any photo's yet. I will eventually, maybe after my daughters engagement party is over. That's happening this weekend, so this week has been a mad cleaning and organising food frenzy. Hopefully next week will be less hectic. So stay tuned same bat time same bat station.

OK I've created a Flickr account, so far so good! But sooo many passwords, user names blah blah blah to remember I think I need a small diary or a bigger brain to remember them all ( I get my children's names wrong and I've known them a long time!).
No photo's to upload here at work so when I get home it will be an uploading frenzy.
I am going on holiday next month to Port Douglas and expect to take a heap of photo's, so expect to see some on my blog and in Flickr. October is a big month for me and mine as my youngest daughter is having her engagement party at home (me and my husband's home) is that correct english? May add a few from this event also. Maybe I won't need to write so much just fill the pages with photos, ha. That's it for me now see you later same bat time same bat station.

By George I did it, I did it, I really really did it! I actually managed to add a photo of myself. Admittedly not a particularly good one but success non the less. It only took a couple of minutes, don't know what all the fuss was about! I was obviously doing some thing very wrong last time. Thanks to all my work colleagues who offered to help. Nice to know you're around when needed.

Wow some of my colleagues have really set the pace! Their blogs are fabulous.
This blogging certainly is proving to be a steep learning curve for me. I tried adding photos last night at home and was unsuccessful and became verrrry frustrated, or maybe I should say I was verrrry challenged. I thought I was reasonably well versed in this sort of thing. I have been proven wrong! I'll ask around for pointers and try again. Well this is all about learning isn't it, so I am certainly doing that! I shall continue in my endeavours and keep you posted, Stay tuned same bat time same bat station.

And so it begins. I am not a journal keeper, not by any stretch of the imagination, this will be a real challenge for me. I keep most of my thoughts the good, bad, ugly inside my very personal blog, my head or I discuss ideas & thoughts with family, friends & collegues. So here we go.
I have worked for the Wyndham library service for eight years now and have enjoyed just about every minute of that time. Don't get me wrong there are times when I would rather be laying on a beach or doing the gardening or quilting but I figure if the pros column has far more ticks than the cons your not doing too bad. That's it for me today. This has taken me a good 40 minutes to write this, creative writing is not one of my strong points.
